Mt Eden Community Centre have very generously granted us use of the lounge again after the success of our winter event!
I recommend parking in the nearby car-park that is a short, 30 second walk to the venue.
Make sure to come in through the side-entrance (see below), as the main entrance will be in use by other societies.

Special guest speaker Joe Harper will be giving talk on the architecture of AI, it's strengths, weaknesses, and where humans can still add value as the capabilities of LLM models increase.

In a world where code generation lowers the cost of development, technical value moves to areas like system design, code architecture, security etc.
As developers we have an opportunity to offer services to smaller businesses that would previously have been out of their budget. This new market presents opportunities to those who can effectively reach and communicate with small business owners.
