What to expect:

✽  Networking (6:00pm - 6:15pm)

  • Mingle
A chance to meet new people and make industry connections
  • Ice-Breaker
There will be an ice-breaker question with a prize awarded for the best answer!
  • Refreshments
A chance to re-charge your batteries after a hard day coding!

✽  Talks (6:15pm - 7:45pm)

  • MCP and AI Agents
Join Richard Howell-Peak as he gives a run-down of how to execute code with natural language commands!
  • This talk covers the MCP protocol, including what it is, how it works, and how you can integrate it into an LLM.  Complete with full working example available on GitHub that you can try yourself and get building your own MCP server!
  • Building Web Applications on Cloudflare
Jackie Chan will be sharing his experience building and deploying production applications onto Cloudflare.
  • They have many new features and services that can make serving your web applications faster and easier than ever before
  • Mutation Testing

Code coverage tells you which lines were run. Mutation testing tells you whether your tests would actually fail if the code was wrong.

Learn how mutation testing works, why it is useful, and how it can help you spot weak tests before production does.

  • Guest speaker Liam Russell has been implementing mutation testing to improve the stability of real-world applications.

✽  Afterwards (7:45pm - 8:00pm)

  • Prize Giving
Prize is awarded for the best answer to the ice-breaker!
  • Packing up
We ask that you help put your chair away while we pack the equipment and clean the space
  • Drinks
If there's interest, join us for a drink at a local establishment.
